The Team
The Mechanical Structures and Components (MS&C) division of Honeywell Aerospace is responsible for a wide variety of product lines including air turbine staters, environmental controls, valves, and actuators. This position would be a part of the Tempe Analysis team who supports these various product lines using state of the art software tools. This team applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
· Dynamic Analysis of turbine wheels and rotating turbine components
· Static structural analysis of various valve and actuator components
· Collaboration with project and design engineering teams
· Creation of technical documentation such as stress reports or part specifications
· Cost and workload estimation
· Stress and fatigue modeling
· Support to integrated supply chain for equipment in manufacture
