A key position responsible for the master in SAP for the HBT/SPS business. This role is focused process enhancements and troubleshooting projects that enables to support the business controllership organization. This position will be responsible for driving a standard MOS as we continue to mature and automate the controllership processes supporting the Americas region. This role also has a voice to global designed processes as we continue to work towards a leading organization in Financial reporting and accountability.
Position Responsibilities
- Ensure requirements from Controllers, Auditors and other internal customers are being met.
- Lead change management including 3 day close strategy, maintaining global standard setup of SAP, drive an agenda to have BOT/RPA technology implemented across finance processes.
- Supports and implements process or system changes or upgrades in support of common processes and business/controllership initiatives
- Evaluates and manages the systems impact of acquisitions, divestitures, and internal reorganizations
- Data acquisition and analysis for external audit and consulting firms (Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, EY) as well as corporate functions
- Facilitates the Finance enhancement review, providing insight and recommendations for requested enhancements while ensuring global support of SAP changes.
- Finance focal point at weekly Enterprise Rapid Delivery Intake meetings spanning all SBG’s. Maintains working knowledge of Finance policies and procedures along with the HBT/SPS process for SAP enhancements
- Assists with testing system enhancements, break, fixes, and small config changes
- Trains users on SAP functionality and enhancements - GRIR, Payables, COA, Master Data, Fixed Assets, Cost Assessments, Shipped Not Billed, etc.
- Serves as a focal point for problem resolution in areas affecting RFC and Controllership in the FI-CO arena.
- Trouble shoots user issues and determines solution (process training, alternatives or recommends an enhancement
