What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer position at Honeywell?
Use your knowledge of electrical engineering, processes and tools to help Honeywell-Intelligrated deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of material handling, warehouse automation and e-commerce fulfillment products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Collaborate with multiple engineering teams.

- Ability to work with suppliers on delivery and cost of electrical components.

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to manage assigned resources to complete objectives on time.
- Perform specification review.
- Test plan development and execution.
- Create product documentation and training material.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical codes. (NEC, NFPA79, UL508A)
- Plan, manage and execute project deliverables with little oversight.
- Ability to identify and communicate status and risks as appropriate to management.
- Prepare and/or update reports and documentation.
- Troubleshoot technical problems on new and existing products.
- Identify areas for technical improvement.
- Willingness to travel as required. (10%)
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability and willingness to mentor others.
- Ability to refine or develop standards and procedures.
- Ability to create complex test plans.
- Understand customer operations and problems.
- Promote coordination with project teams.
