THE POSITION
As a Trade Compliance Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with international import regulations. You will be responsible for various import compliance programs and regulations, and supporting the implementation of policies to mitigate risks associated with import activities.
You will report directly to our Director of Trade Compliance, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell’s ability to maintain regulatory compliance with customs and optimize operations, thereby supporting efficient and compliant global trade activities.

- Manage and monitor compliance with Honeywell’s trade policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits and assessments of import activities to identify and address compliance risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues and improve processes.
- Support the development and implementation of import compliance policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on customs regulations and compliance best practices to ensure ongoing adherence.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of tools and systems that support the storage or use of customs data.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 years of experience in customs compliance, broker management, or related roles.
- Experience managing and monitoring compliance with trade policies and regulatory requirements.
- Experience conducting audits and assessments of import activities to identify and address compliance risks.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance issues and improve processes.
- Ability to support the development and implementation of import compliance policies and procedures.
- Experience staying updated on customs regulations and compliance best practices to ensure ongoing adherence.
- Experience assisting in the development and maintenance of tools and systems that support the storage or use of customs data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field
- Ability to build strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
