Job Description

As a Sr Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will ensure the highest standards of quality for our products and processes, develop and implement quality assurance strategies, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement.

You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager, and you'll work on site at our Plymouth, MN location.

As a Sr Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will ensure the highest standards of quality for our products and processes, develop and implement quality assurance strategies, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement.

You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager, and you'll work on site at our Plymouth, MN location.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the overall quality and reliability of our products by delivering superior quality engineering support for our suppliers. You will be responsible for implementing advanced quality control processes, coaching suppliers, conducting root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to improve product quality. Your expertise in quality engineering methodologies and tools will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction
  
  

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• 5 or more years of experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector
• 2 or more years in a supplier facing role
• Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills
• Strong knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and tools
• AS9100/ISO9001 Audit Experience
  
  

WE VALUE

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
• Additional certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or Internal Auditor Certification
• Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proficiency in change management methodologies.
• Demonstrates working under minimal supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision making
• MIL-PRF-38535 knowledge and understanding
• Demonstrated ability providing technical guidance, project management guidance, consultative services, and innovative solutions to leadership
  
  

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. The annual base salary range for this position is $94,400 - $118,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
