Honeywell Aerospace has embarked on a Digital Engineering Transformation to develop and deploy digital engineering capabilities and tools, to accelerate innovation and maximize product quality. This fundamental shift in how we design, develop and deliver products is positioning Honeywell Aerospace to meet the customer needs of the future.
At the forefront of this transformation, is Model Based Systems Engineering. The Digital Engineering Operations department is seeking a strategic and skilled Senior Advanced MBSE Solutions Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Digital Engineering, you will play a critical role in driving adoption of Model Based Systems Engineering tools and methodologies across Honeywell Aerospace

The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Responsibilities
- Architect, implement and maintain standard MBSE reference models and style guides in Cameo, including custom Meta Models and Stereotypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and establish MBSE processes and best practices.
- Implement automations, extensions and validation checks within Cameo to enable and accelerate Systems Engineering processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support for the use of Cameo and Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Develop and maintain training materials and conduct workshops to educate teams on MBSE methodologies and tools.
- Lead MBSE Community of Practice to drive adoption of MBSE
- Develop and enable Digital Thread integrations between Cameo and other key Digital Engineering Tools (DOORS NG, Teamcenter).
- Monitor industry trends in MBSE tools and processes and evaluate emerging SysML 2.0 tools.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, IBM Rhapsody, etc.) and methodologies (e.g., SysML).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in training and mentoring team members on MBSE principles and tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Certifications in MBSE or related fields (e.g., INCOSE).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
- Experience in systems engineering, particularly in model-based approaches.
