Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide swing shift production support for Thin Film & Packaging manufacturing areas to achieve output and yield goals. Typical start time is 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm
- Address product and process quality issues, provide guidance to production operators, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Perform engineering tests, conduct process improvement projects, and prepare technical written reports.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, provide guidance to maintenance techs, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
- Work with production supervisors and leads, reduce bottlenecks in the line, and provide back-up production coverage as needed.
- Ensure work instructions, drawings, logs, and records are accurate and up to date.
- Train and certify production operators using a hands-on training approach.
MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or materials science.
- Experience with a variety of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as automation, semiconductor manufacturing, machining, and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to work effectively with a broad team of people and outside contractors.
