Responsibilities
- Offer Strategy & Portfolio Management (Integrated Control Systems focus), Define and lead the offer (product) strategy for Honeywell’s Motion Control portfolio, aligned with Control Systems overall priorities
- Develop and execute multi-year product roadmaps focused on high-growth commercial/military platform capabilities, including scalable flight surface control, integrated safety systems, e-braking solutions, and distributed closed-loop control systems solutions
- Drive portfolio lifecycle management, including prioritization of investments, product enhancements, and retirement decisions
- Establish differentiated value propositions tailored to mission-critical applications

- Identifying high-growth segments, including:
- DoD and allied defense programs (CCA/UCAV, F-47/FA-XX, Military Trainer, Missiles/Munitions)
- Next-Generation Narrowbody (Boeing, Airbus, Embraer)
- BGA (Gulfstream, Embraer, Bombardier, Textron)
- Expanding into adjacent opportunities such as:
- Autonomous and AI-enabled solutions
- Leading new product introductions (NPI) to accelerate time-to-market for next-generation solutions
- Driving pricing and commercialization strategies to maximize revenue growth and margin performance
- Leveraging data and market insights to identify whitespace opportunities and scale winning offerings
- Lead voice-of-customer (VoC) initiatives across commercial and defense customers to capture evolving mission needs
- Analyze opportunity evolution, including emerging technologies, low-cost UCAV/Missile proliferation, and more-electric distributed systems
- Translate customer and mission insights into product requirements, features, and roadmap priorities
- Partner with Engineering, R&D, GBE/LOB, and Program Management to ensure alignment between product strategy and technology development
- Collaborate with Business Development and Capture teams to support pipeline growth and win strategies
- Work with Finance to build business cases, manage investment trade-offs, and deliver financial targets
- Drive execution through Honeywell Operating System to ensure delivery against growth commitments
- Assess strengths and weaknesses of competitors across global markets, including commercial/defense tier 2/3’s and emerging technology companies
- Define and execute clear differentiation strategies across Motion Control offerings
- Monitor emerging technologies and disruptors to ensure continued market leadership
- Lead Breakthrough Technology Initiatives (BTI) focused on next-generation capabilities
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with customers, defense primes, startups, university, and government entities to accelerate innovation and market access.
- Identify the most strategically impactful partnerships/acquisition opportunities to develop a plan to close gaps in skills and key relationships
- Support M&A and portfolio expansion efforts in collaboration with Corporate Development
- Own and deliver key performance metrics, including:
- Demonstrate full ownership of the product and its success—driving fast, informed decisions, engaging early and often with customers, activating the right partnerships, and making the difficult strategic choices required for a standout market introduction
- Revenue growth and market share in Motion Control segments
- Profitability and margin expansion
- Product adoption and customer penetration
- Pipeline growth and conversion rates
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, scalability, and customer satisfaction
- Partner with HR and leadership to align strategic workforce planning and organizational design with growth priorities
- Drive early supplier selection and manufacturing readiness (TRL/MRL)
- Ensure the organization builds and scales critical capabilities in systems engineering, electronics, controllers, software, AI/autonomy, and integrated systems
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, offer management, or business strategy within aerospace, defense, or advanced technology sectors.
- Proven track record of driving high-growth product portfolios, ideally within aerospace commercial or related defense domains
- Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and analytical capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience in flight control systems, propulsion systems, braking systems, lighting systems, or integrated control systems
- Strong experience in product lifecycle management, new product introduction (NPI), and go-to-market strategy
- Ability to influence and lead across cross-functional and executive stakeholders
- Experience in scaling new technologies into commercially successful offerings
