Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing returns.
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling products to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Assist with merchandising, ensuring products are displayed attractively and stocked appropriately.
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout areas.
- Support inventory management through stocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interactions.
