Seasonal Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Associates to join our team during the busy retail season. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. As a Seasonal Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining store presentation, and supporting sales initiatives.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing returns.
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling products to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Assist with merchandising, ensuring products are displayed attractively and stocked appropriately.
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout areas.
• Support inventory management through stocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the store.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective customer interactions.

• Supervising experience is beneficial for those looking to take on additional responsibilities.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management.
