We're looking for a leader who takes ownership of the production floor, leads by example, develops the team, identifies issues before they become problems, and continuously improves production processes without sacrificing quality or compliance.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to build efficient, repeatable processes while maintaining exceptional product quality.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement practical process improvements.
- Ensure production goals are achieved without compromising quality or compliance.
- Verify production counts, raw material usage, inventory accuracy, and finished goods.
- Complete and review production records, batch documentation, and inventory transactions with accuracy.
- Perform quality checks throughout production to minimize errors and reduce waste.
- Ensure all work complies with company SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), METRC requirements, and New York cannabis regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready production facility.
- Coordinate with management regarding production priorities, inventory needs, equipment issues, and scheduling.
- Assist with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and coordination of maintenance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a production team.
- Proven ability to identify problems, implement solutions, and improve production efficiency.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient using production records, inventory systems, and standard computer software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as cannabis, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, or medical devices.
- Experience improving manufacturing efficiency, workflow, production processes, or operational performance.
- Experience developing or improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Experience using ERP, inventory management, or production planning software.
