About the Position
Honey Dew Donuts is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Cashier to join our team for an afternoon and closing shift. The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, can work well as part of a team, and takes pride in keeping the store clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the cash register and process cash, credit/debit, and other payments
- Prepare and serve food, coffee, donuts, and other menu items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store
- Restock products and supplies as needed
- Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures
- Assist with closing duties, including cleaning and preparing the store for the next day
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the shift
- Work cooperatively with other team members
Qualifications
- Customer service experience is a plus, but training will be provided
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to handle cash accurately
- Must be available for afternoon and/or closing shifts
- Weekend availability is a plus
