Nick & Toni’s, a beloved East Hampton institution for over 35 years, is seeking an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our front-of-house team. Known for our warm hospitality, Italian- locally-inspired cuisine, and vibrant bar culture, we’re looking for someone who shares our dedication to quality, community, and exceptional guest experiences.
About the Role:
At Nick & Toni’s, bartenders are not only skilled drink makers—they are storytellers, hosts, and ambassadors of our beverage program. In this role, you’ll help create memorable moments for guests through thoughtful service and a deep understanding of our wine list, cocktail offerings, and seasonal menu.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years of bartending experience in upscale or high-volume restaurants
- Foundational wine knowledge, including familiarity with key grape varieties, wine regions (especially Italy, France, and California), and basic food and wine pairing principles
- Comfort speaking about biodynamic, organic, and natural wines, and interest in continuing to learn about our dynamic, curated wine list
- Strong working knowledge of classic cocktail technique, spirits, liqueurs, and beer styles
- A polished, approachable demeanor and the ability to engage comfortably with a diverse, discerning clientele
- Confidence guiding guests through beverage selections and making thoughtful pairing recommendations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
