Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business
- Manage POS systems such as Shift4 for order entry, billing, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving or intoxication
- Assist in setting up bar stations ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and perform basic math calculations for change or totals.
Skills
- At least 6 years proven experience as a bartender with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods seamlessly
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, alcohol serving laws, and food safety protocols
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector, including catering or food service settings
