Service Manager - Nick & Toni’s
Nick & Toni’s is seeking a dynamic, hospitality-driven Service Manager to lead our Front of House team and uphold the exceptional standards our guests have come to expect. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on the floor, builds strong teams, and brings both operational discipline and genuine warmth to every shift.
About the Role
As Service Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and oversee all aspects of FOH operations, service standards, and guest experience. In the GM’s absence, the bar team and support managers report directly to you.
This is a full-time position, typically five days per week (approximately 50 hours), requiring a strong physical presence during peak service periods and key events.
What You’ll Do
You will play a critical role in shaping the daily experience for both guests and team members by:
- Maintaining and elevating service standards while continuously improving systems, efficiency, and profitability
- Leading from the floor—actively supporting service, anticipating needs, and ensuring a seamless guest experience
- Managing complex guest concerns with a calm, solutions-oriented, hospitality-first mindset
- Acting as a point of escalation for employee matters, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with HR policies
- Driving team performance through pre-shift meetings, ongoing beverage education, coaching, and evaluations
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety, labor, alcohol service, and cleanliness standards
- Overseeing administrative systems including RESY, 7Shifts, Upserve, and facilities coordination
- Maintaining accuracy across menus, POS systems, and printed/digital materials
- Managing shift execution, including opening, closing, and the nightly 5:10 PM line-up
- Supporting late-night service standards and assisting with monthly inventories
Floor Management Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily sales, complete banking, and submit reports to accounting
- Review and adjust reservations in RESY in alignment with GM direction
- Manage guest communications via phone (reservations, events, gift cards)
- Maintain POS systems (Lightspeed), including employee profiles, menu updates, and labor adjustments
- Lead daily pre-service line-up, covering staffing, menus, VIPs, and service notes
- Ensure full FOH readiness (staffing, bar setup, side work) prior to service
- Oversee FOH team performance while collaborating closely with the BOH team
- Foster a positive, accountable work environment that drives both sales and guest satisfaction
- Partner with the GM on training, onboarding, development, and disciplinary processes
- Execute closing procedures, including financial reconciliation, reporting, facility checks, and securing the building

- Experienced with restaurant systems and administrative responsibilities
