Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical settings, ensuring the highest level of care for our clients. This role requires a blend of clinical expertise and interpersonal skills to assist clients with daily living activities while promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health status.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs.
- Engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Level II trauma center experience
- Hospital medicine or emergency medicine
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience
- Operating Room (OR) experience
- Geriatrics and medical-surgical care expertise
- Inpatient, outpatient, clinic, or post-acute care experience
- Sub-acute care experience
