Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and experience working with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing any changes in condition.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Utilize proper techniques for heavy lifting and transferring clients using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Document patient care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or autism as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or assisted living settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks and maintain a hygienic environment for clients.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

- Ability to follow care plans accurately while being flexible to meet changing client needs.
