Position Summary
The Cashier/Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers and visitors while accurately processing payments and supporting daily front office operations. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receptionist Duties

• Greet and welcome customers, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
• Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars as needed.
• Provide information regarding products, services, policies, and procedures.
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and correspondence.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, and document management.

Cashier Duties

• Process customer transactions accurately using cash registers, POS systems, or payment terminals.
• Accept cash, credit card, debit card, and other approved payment methods.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or exchanges according to company policies.
• Balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and prepare daily cash reports.
• Resolve customer billing inquiries and payment discrepancies professionally.
• Support teamwork and collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cashier, receptionist, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Rate of pay

• $14.55 per hour
