Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. Duties
- Ensure all public areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred; experience in hotel or industrial cleaning is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude in line with hospitality values.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
