We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable breakfast experience for our guests. You will play a crucial part in food preparation, presentation, and maintaining cleanliness in the breakfast area. Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are presented attractively and in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing excellent customer service and addressing any dietary needs or preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, serving stations, and kitchen equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to replenish food items as needed throughout the breakfast service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Provide support for catering events or special requests as necessary.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience and gather feedback on their meal.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including roles such as host/host, server, or barista.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and food preparation skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional guest relations.
- Experience with cash handling and basic cashiering duties.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
