What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at Homewood Suites by Hilton?
The Front Desk agent is responsible for the operation of the front desk area. Applicants must be able to operate computers, basic office technology and perform some heavy lifting alone or with reasonable accommodations. Applicant must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Starting pay $15.50 to $17.00 per hour based on experience.
Job Duties
- Available evenings and weekends
- Be comfortable working unsupervised
- Use critical thinking skills to solve issues and respond to guest needs
- Be able to operate a computer and basic office technology
- Use proper telephone etiquette to respond to guest needs
- Be able to communicate with guests in a positive manner during check in, and check out, as well as during social interactions
- Be able to balance the days work, create reports and use critical thinking skills to solve any issues that may arise.
What are we looking for?
Successful candidates should have critical thinking skills, be detail oriented and able to take direction. Posses a desire to deliver exceptional customer service. Be willing to train for long term employment. Open schedules preferred with the ability to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
