Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and administrative offices.
- Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional cleaning services efficiently and consistently.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, quality control procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Oversee laundry operations, including linen management and garment care, ensuring timely turnaround and quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to verify cleanliness, organization, and maintenance needs are met or exceeded.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities; place orders as needed to maintain operational readiness.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special projects or events requiring deep cleaning or custodial support.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hotels or hospitality environments.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Extensive janitorial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Experience in laundry operations and understanding of linen management processes.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
