Job Overview
We are seeking a Deep Clean Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team and help maintain exceptional cleanliness standards throughout our hotel. This role focuses on intensive, detail-oriented cleaning of guest rooms beyond routine daily service. Responsibilities include moving furniture and appliances, cleaning hard-to-reach areas, and restoring rooms to a like-new condition. The ideal candidate takes pride in thorough work and understands the importance of cleanliness in delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed deep-cleaning of hotel guest rooms, including:
- Moving refrigerators, beds, and furniture to clean behind and underneath
- Wiping and washing walls, baseboards, doors, and vents
- Cleaning high-touch surfaces such as light switches, thermostats, phones, and remote controls
- Remove built-up dust, dirt, and debris from all surfaces, fixtures, and furnishings
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including tile, grout, fixtures, and drains
- Safely use commercial-grade cleaning products, tools, and equipment
- Ensure all rooms meet or exceed hotel brand cleanliness and quality standards
- Reposition furniture and appliances correctly after cleaning
- Identify and report maintenance issues or room damage to management
- Maintain organized cleaning carts and properly care for supplies and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or deep-cleaning experience in a hotel or residential setting preferred
- Knowledge of deep-cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and use of cleaning chemicals
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull heavy items for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move furniture and appliances as needed
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and reaching high or low areas
- Capable of performing repetitive motions throughout the workday
Pay: $9.50 - $10.00 per hour
