Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in diverse healthcare settings, including Level II trauma centers, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and post-acute care environments. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in health status to healthcare professionals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following all safety protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care needs
- Support clients during meal preparation and feeding as necessary
- Coordinate with healthcare teams for ongoing care plans
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in healthcare settings such as Level I Trauma Centers, Geriatrics, Medical-surgical units, PICU, or outpatient clinics is highly desirable
- Experience with hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or post-acute care is preferred
- Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient care procedures and protocols
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to work independently in a home setting while following care plans
- Certification or training in caregiving or relevant medical fields is a plus
- Must be reliable, patient-focused, and attentive to detail
- Ability to adapt to various client needs across different healthcare environments including teaching hospitals and sub-acute care facilities
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
