Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Employment Type: Part-Time

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Customer Service
- Welcome patients and create a positive first impression
- Answer patient questions and provide outstanding customer service
- Triage patient concerns and relay information accurately to providers and staff
Appointment & Schedule Management
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage patient appointments
- Maintain an organized and efficient daily schedule
Administrative Support
- Collect and scan patient paperwork into the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Verify insurance information
- Collect exam copayments and other patient payments
- Prepare patient statements and invoices
- Answer and return phone calls and messages
- Contact patients when materials are ready for pickup
- Collect referrals from local healthcare providers and facilities
- Process contact lens orders over the phone
- Perform general office duties, including faxing, copying, stocking, and maintaining office supplies
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with optometrists and fellow team members to ensure seamless patient care and office operations
