Part-Time Apartment Maintenance/Cleaning Technician
Location: Warsaw, KY
Hours: 12 hours per week
Job Overview:
Homeland Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Apartment Maintenance/Cleaning Technician to perform upkeep tasks and ensure the functionality of an apartment complex in Warsaw, KY. This role offers a flexible schedule, paid holidays, and vacation benefits (eligibility and grace periods apply).
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties (e.g., dusting, mopping).
- Conduct minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, blinds, filling wall gaps, and touch-up painting.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment (e.g., ventilation, piping, electrical systems).
- Check control panels and ensure the functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarms).
- Collaborate with coworkers and external professionals during renovations.
- Report issues to the Facilities Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and their use.
- Preferably some knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Experience using hand and electrical tools with safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and follow instructions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Reliable transportation.
