Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas in our hotel. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and clean for each guest.
- Clean and restock bathrooms with necessary supplies, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment for various surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
