Duties

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas with precision and care, ensuring all spaces are spotless and inviting
• Handle various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and floor care using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques
• Safely handle chemical agents and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and safety protocols
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or supplies, adhering to manual handling safety standards
• Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs promptly
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, report maintenance issues promptly, and ensure compliance with hotel housekeeping management policies

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or janitorial services is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, chemical handling, sanitation practices, and industrial cleaning methods
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems or similar organizational tools is a plus
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all
