Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently on appliances, HVAC/R systems, and mechanical components.
- Install new appliances and mechanical equipment following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other climate control equipment to maintain ideal working conditions.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site maintenance tasks while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs; complete service reports detailing repairs performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders, improve maintenance procedures, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills; familiarity with HVAC/R systems is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams confidently.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, kitchen equipment maintenance, and appliance installation.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues promptly.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
