Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to ensure accuracy and completeness of all transactions.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Monitor hotel security procedures, including CCTV surveillance and emergency protocols, to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to support day-shift staff and management.
- Address guest concerns promptly by applying customer service problem-solving skills, ensuring their needs are met with care and efficiency.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to resolve any overnight issues affecting guest comfort or safety.
- Utilize multilingual or bilingual skills to assist diverse guests, enhancing their overall experience through effective communication.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, with familiarity using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette and client communication.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and hotel management best practices.
- Ability to handle night audit responsibilities accurately while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve an international clientele effectively.
- Previous resort experience or working within a property with extensive guest relations is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to remain calm under pressure during night shifts.
