Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Maintain impeccable floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Restock linens, toiletries, and supplies to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Follow established protocols for sanitation and hygiene to meet health standards and regulations
- Handle special cleaning requests with professionalism and efficiency, including industrial cleaning tasks when necessary
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and ensure all spaces meet cleanliness standards
- Assist in managing housekeeping supplies inventory and report shortages or maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments—hotel experience is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
- Familiarity with custodial practices within hospitality or healthcare settings
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
