We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Houseman to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment.
- Assist with set-up and breakdown of event spaces or special functions as needed.
- Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues promptly, and ensuring equipment is well-maintained.
- Maintain safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle hazardous materials with care.
- Contribute to industrial cleaning tasks when required, including deep cleaning projects or janitorial duties in high-traffic areas.
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of storage closets and supply rooms to facilitate efficient operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, including floor care and surface sanitation.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, carpet cleaners, and mops.
- Experience with hospitality environments or hotel operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning practices.
