Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Director of Sales to lead and grow the sales efforts at Home2 Suites by Hilton Albuquerque Airport, a new hotel with 108 guest room hotel located in the Albuquerque Airport area. The ideal candidate is a dynamic hospitality sales leader with a proven track record of driving revenue, managing group business, negotiating local corporate accounts, and leading high-performing sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed hotel revenue targets across all market segments (corporate, group, leisure, etc.).
- Proactively solicit and manage group bookings including meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.
- Handle all incoming group inquiries and RFPs, preparing competitive proposals and responding to bids in a timely, professional manner.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage local corporate accounts and negotiated rates to maximize transient revenue and foster long-term client relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel managers, meeting planners, and third-party partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry demand to adjust sales strategies and pricing accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management and Marketing teams to align sales efforts with pricing strategies, promotions, and positioning.
- Represent the hotel at sales calls, networking events, and community functions.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budget updates to hotel leadership.
- Ensure all sales activities are accurately documented in the CRM system and comply with brand and company standards.
