We're looking for a Pro Experience Manager (PXM) to build and grow relationships with contractors, installers, and small business owners. You'll be the go-to partner for our Pro customers — driving sales, networking in the field, and creating opportunities for repeat business.
What You'll Do
- Find and connect with new Pro customers (calls, visits, networking)
- Learn customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Host store tours, Pro events, and industry meetups
- Track leads and opportunities in Salesforce
- Represent Home Surplus in the field ~40% of the time - especially in DC and Northern VA, while serving your customers in store ~60% of the time.
What We're Looking For
- Must have basic understanding of home construction/renovation.
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience (retail or distribution).
- Experience selling on value proposition, not price.
- Kitchen and Bath Design Experience.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Valid driver's license reliable vehicle.
- Confident in cold calling face to face sales.
- Strong relationship builder. Organized. Unmatched energy.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
