JOB SUMMARY

Home Matters Caregiving is looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers with a passion for helping others and building meaningful relationships. Our caregiver-first philosophy means we put our team members at the heart of everything we do — because great care starts with great caregivers.

Caregivers are responsible for providing quality in-home care and companionship to our clients, including assistance with light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and daily living activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply)

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience with the senior population

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed

• Provide mobility and transfer support

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment

• Follow care plans and promptly report any changes in condition to the appropriate team members

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of formal caregiving experience in senior care

• Reliable transportation

• Familiarity with basic first aid procedures

• Valid driver’s license

• Personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic techniques

• Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers

• Able to communicate clearly and effectively

• Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle

• Agency office

• Client homes

• Skilled, Independent, and Assisted Living Communities

COMPENSATION

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Pay: $14–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
