What You’ll Do:
As a CARE PROFESSIONAL, you will provide meaningful support and companionship while helping seniors navigate everyday life with comfort and confidence. Responsibilities may include:
- Companionship and engaging conversation
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and continence care
- Alzheimer’s and Dementia support
- Encouragement, emotional support, and compassionate presence.
- Experience Preferred — But Heart Matters Most. Experience as a CNA, Assisted Living Caregiver, Hospice Aide or in Home Health is welcomed, but NOT required.
At Home Instead, we provide hands-on, instructor-led training designed to help every CARE PROFESSIONAL feel confident, prepared and supported before entering a client’s home. You will receive in-house certification in personal care tasks and ongoing education opportunities to help you grow both personally and professionally.We are looking for individuals who are:
- Compassionate and respectful toward seniors
- Reliable, trustworthy and intentional in their work
- Friendly and able to communicate warmly with clients and families
- Passionate about serving others and making a difference
- Willing to complete background checks and screening requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
