Role Description This full-time, on-site Home Care Provider role is based in Kailua, HI. The Home Care Provider will assist older adults with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support, while promoting dignity and independence. Responsibilities include providing companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities, preparing simple meals, light housekeeping, and monitoring for changes in clients’ health or behavior. The role also involves following individualized care plans, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with the care team and family members as appropriate, and adhering to safety and infection-control standards. The Home Care Provider is expected to be punctual, reliable, and able to work a consistent schedule, including possible evenings, weekends, or holidays based on client needs.

Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, patience, clear communication, and the ability to build trust with clients and families.
- Ability to follow care plans, observe and report changes in condition, and maintain accurate records.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant caregiving certifications (e.g., CNA, HHA) are a plus.
- Reliable transportation to client homes in the Kailua, HI area and the ability to meet any local licensing or background check requirements.
- Physical ability to assist with transfers, mobility, and light household tasks, in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Previous experience in home care, senior care, or healthcare support is preferred but not required; comprehensive training may be provided.
