Caregiver / Companion for Older Adults

Home Instead is currently hiring compassionate and reliable caregivers to support older adults living in their own homes. If you are a “people person”, we need you now more than ever to help your neighbors age with dignity. Join our team and become one of the Caregivers—we call ours Care Professionals—who bring their care and compassion to help older adults meet the challenges of aging on their terms.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s Care

*No previous experience necessary - skills training will be provided by Home Instead* Serving Tioga, Chemung, Steuben, and Schuyler Counties and surrounding areas

Requirements:

• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner
