Summary/Objective

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations.

 

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Office Manager and/or Administrator

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  1. Handles employment application intake and onboarding of new hires
  2. Performs computer data entry and file maintenance
  3. Assists employees and the public with personnel information and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures
  4. Assists with new-employee orientations
  5. Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions
  6. Prepares recruitment job postings as needed
  7. Maintains employee data information in the computer system
  8. Audits and tracks annual certification and training documents
  9. Maintains accurate 1-9 forms and purges forms when required by law
  10. Answers in-coming telephone calls during normal business hours and coordinates with Team Coordinator for on-call after hours phone coverage
  11. Conducts reference checks and background checks for job candidates
  12. Assists the manager with employee/personnel projects
  13. Sends COBRA information to terminated employees
  14. Creates various reports and documents to provide current personnel information
  15. Tracks various renewable items for personnel
  16. Understands and assists with benefits and open enrollment
  17. Acts as a backup for payroll

The employee regularly works in an office setting while performing the duties of this job

 

Essential Functions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, expected 40 hours per week

 

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required plus one year of office/clerical support experience.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

Previous home health and record keeping experience is preferred. Human resources office experience is preferred

None required for this position

 

 

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
