Summary/Objective
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Office Manager and/or Administrator
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handles employment application intake and onboarding of new hires
- Performs computer data entry and file maintenance
- Assists employees and the public with personnel information and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures
- Assists with new-employee orientations
- Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions
- Prepares recruitment job postings as needed
- Maintains employee data information in the computer system
- Audits and tracks annual certification and training documents
- Maintains accurate 1-9 forms and purges forms when required by law
- Answers in-coming telephone calls during normal business hours and coordinates with Team Coordinator for on-call after hours phone coverage
- Conducts reference checks and background checks for job candidates
- Assists the manager with employee/personnel projects
- Sends COBRA information to terminated employees
- Creates various reports and documents to provide current personnel information
- Tracks various renewable items for personnel
- Understands and assists with benefits and open enrollment
- Acts as a backup for payroll

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, expected 40 hours per week
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required plus one year of office/clerical support experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Previous home health and record keeping experience is preferred. Human resources office experience is preferred

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
