Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing Home Health Agency. We are searching for a CNA that will show up when they say they will without changing visit days and times at the last minute, is honest, cares about the patients and will be on time for their visits.
We are offering a MUCH HIGHER pay rate than other employers of CNA's in the area because we want to find and retain the ideal Aide for our patients. We also offer mileage reimbursement and benefits once the position is full-time.
We are looking for a straight shooter, non-game player, who has integrity and compassion and wants to be part of a growing team. We currently have 8-12 visits a week for our incoming Aide, and that number will be increasing continually as we add patients. We expect to be able to have full time hours for our Aide in just a few months.
The right candidate will have experience in home healthcare and possess a strong understanding of patient care protocols, medical documentation, and safety procedures.
We want to hire an Aide who understands professionalism, and appropriate conduct in a patients home as well as in discussions with families and caregivers.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately using EMR/EHR systems while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Support patients with complex needs including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, behavioral health management, and post-acute recovery.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care plans.
- Maintain detailed medical records and documentation of patient progress in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Follow all safety protocols for infection control.
- Assist Director of Nursing as needed.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of Texas.
- Experience working in home health environments.
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR system Wellsky/Kinnser preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and patient care procedures.
- Experience with senior patients.
- Strong communication skills coupled with compassion for patient-centered care.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information.
