Get ready to unearth your true potential and dig into the exciting world of HEI Civil!We are looking to hire an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!Responsibilities:•Coordinate and manage the employee onboarding process from offer acceptance through first weeks of employment•Prepare onboarding materials and ensure new hire documentation is completed accurately and timely•Enter and maintain employee information in the payroll and HR systems•New Hire Orientation scheduling and facilitation in both English and Spanish•Coordinate pre-employment processes such as background checks, MVR, drug testing, and employment verification•Partner with IT and hiring managers to ensure equipment, system access, and workspace readiness•Conduct new hire follow-ups during the first week and first month•Maintain accurate and confidential employee records•Support HR projects such as open enrollment, employee surveys, training coordination, and recognition programs•Offboarding processes and employment verifications•Respond to employee questions regarding onboarding, payroll, and basic benefits inquiries•Provide general administrative support to the HR team•Perform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:•Bilingual in English and Spanish•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software•Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion•Knowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum is a plus•Excellent written and verbal communication skills•Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitudeEducation and Experience:Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferredExperience: 0–2 years of administrative or HR experience preferred
