What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Trimmer / Post-Harvest Tech position at Holyoke Wilds?
We’re looking for experienced cannabis trimmers to join our post-harvest crew. If you’ve only trimmed at home, this isn’t the job for you. We need people who have trimmed in a licensed commercial facility and can hit production numbers while keeping quality top notch.
Compensation: Pay DOE (Depends on Experience)
The Job
- Hand-trim flower fast and clean (2 lbs/day average)
- Handle fresh frozen material (bucking, sorting, prepping for extraction)
- Packaging and labeling finished product to spec
- Keep your station and the workspace clean, organized, and compliant
- Show up on time, ready to work, every shift
The Must-Haves
- Minimum 1 year licensed commercial trimming/post-harvest experience
- Proven ability to trim 2 lbs/day with consistency and quality
- 21 with ability to pass a state background check
- Reliable, detail-focused, and able to follow SOPs/direction without issue
Bonus Points
- Previous packaging/labeling/post-harvest experience in cannabis or other regulated industries
Benefits
- PTO/Sick/Vacation time: 40 hours combined annually, available after 90 days
