Position Summary:
Join a team dedicated to every student’s success. As the 4th Grade Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a warm, engaging, and academically rigorous learning environment that supports the intellectual social, and emotional growth of all students. The Lead teacher collaborates with grade-level teammates, Educational Assistants, instructional support staff, and the school’s leadership team to ensure a cohesive and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the educational standards and goals for 4th grade
- Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in core subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, and social studies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those who may require additional support or challenge.
- Foster social and emotional learning by promoting positive behavior and conflict resolution skills.
- Communicate regularly with fellow educators to share resources, best practices, and ideas for classroom improvement
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary education or related field
- Experience teaching at the elementary level, particularly in 4th grade or a similar age group
- Strong understanding of child development principles with effective
instructional strategies
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Teaching certification
- Master's Degree in a related field
Salary : $52,000 - $68,000
