What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Sub for MS Spanish Teacher position at Holy Spirit School?
Holy Spirit Catholic School, a Catholic Pre-K through eight Parish School in Annandale, Virginia, has an opening for a Long-term Substitute Teacher of Spanish for the Middle Level grades for the 2026-2027 School Year working 25-28 hours per week. The Spanish teacher will work closely with a teaching team in a highly collaborative manner committed to offering excellence in student intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in and passion for Spanish language and culture, with an ability to engage students in an appreciation for both. Qualified candidates will fully embrace the mission of our Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student, seeks to inspire life long learners and ignite servant hearted leaders. Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in Spanish or education, will hold or be willing to work towards certification, and have strong instructional experiences.
Compensation is based on experience and certifications and is hourly rate of pay between $24-$28 per hour. Since this is a temporary position candidates are not eligible for benefits.
