What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate Attorney position at Holtzman Vogel?
Holtzman Vogel, a national political, regulatory and litigation law firm, is seeking a litigation associate with 2-3 years of experience to work on our litigation practice team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is not a remote position.
Candidates will have experience in some or all of the following and will handle a combination of:
- State and federal court litigation experience in Utah
- Litigation in the areas of appellate, constitutional, election and redistricting law
- Commercial litigation
- Government investigations and white collar defense
- Land use and environmental litigation
- Tax law litigation
Applicant requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience with complex litigation matters within a law firm environment
- Judicial clerkship is a plus
- State and federal court litigation experience in Utah
- Commitment to client service
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Great attention to detail
- Sound judgment with the ability to prioritize and work as a team player under the pressure of deadlines and client needs
- An entrepreneurial mindset
