Role: Senior Program Manager
Location: Minnetonka, MN (HUB – Onsite 3 days/week starting January 2026)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Tues–Thurs onsite)
Rate: $70.59/hour W2
Position Overview
The Senior Program Manager leads and manages one or more cross-departmental transformation programs aligned with strategic goals, regulatory requirements, new product development, or operational initiatives. This role provides oversight to project managers and teams within the program(s), ensuring performance across timing, budget, and quality. Programs may involve evaluating or implementing services, systems, or business process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Program Execution (70%)
- Partner with business stakeholders to define program scope, milestones, and outcomes.
- Support business case development with Finance, Technology, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and reassess resource requirements aligned with budget constraints.
- Participate in PI Planning, System Demos, and Solution Demos to ensure alignment across ARTs and divisions.
- Track and report MVP progress to key stakeholders and steering committees.
- Develop and maintain critical path and business milestones in collaboration with Product Management.
- Coordinate epic-related activities across business readiness, communications, process design, and technology delivery.
- Manage executive stakeholder communications and facilitate Executive Steering Committees.
- Ensure transparency of dependencies, risks, and issues; drive resolution and decision-making.
- Support Product Managers, Product Owners, and Business Readiness teams in managing deliverables.
- Hold teams accountable for commitments; remove obstacles and facilitate decisions.
- Oversee program financials and ensure appropriate expenditures.
Relationship Management (30%)
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams across departments.
- Coach and support project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and guidance to resolve project barriers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of experience in program management, including:
- 5 years managing complex cross-departmental programs and teams of project managers/
- Or 10 years managing such programs without a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading cross-functional strategic or transformation programs.
- Proven ability to manage program budgets exceeding $1M.
- Experience managing multiple project managers and large cross-functional teams (10–50 people).
- Strong executive communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and end-to-end program delivery.
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Healthcare industry experience, especially in a payer environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Work Schedule
- Must maintain a regular work schedule.
- Required to work onsite in Minnetonka, MN, three days per week (Tues–Thurs) starting January 2026.
