Thermoplastics Press Setup Technician

Ready to own the press setup process?

Holland Sharpe is growing and we’re seeking a seasoned technician who thrives on fast, accurate changeovers and keeping multiple machines humming through the night.

Can you answer “yes” to the following?

• Have you spent 3 years in plastic injection molding or plastics manufacturing?
• Do you confidently perform tool/die/mold setups and switchovers?
• Are you comfortable managing and troubleshooting 12–24 presses at once?
• Can you read blueprints and translate them into reliable setups?
• Have you worked with hydraulic, electric, and magnetic clamp systems?

Your impact

• Execute efficient mold and tooling changeovers on injection molding machines.
• Set up presses to produce quality parts and validate start-up.
• Monitor machines across the floor, diagnosing issues to maintain steady output.
• Clean dies post-run to ensure quality and readiness for the next shift.

Equipment you’ll use

• Injection molding machines: Engel, Sumitomo

Schedule

• 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am

Pay

• $23.68 – $26.64 hourly, commensurate with experience
