Licensed Therapist (LISW/LMHC/LMFT) — Integrative Practice + KAP Training

Holistic Wellness & Psychiatry is seeking a therapist to join our multidisciplinary practice in Cedar Rapids. We combine psychiatry and psychotherapy with innovative treatments including ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), Spravato®, and integrative and functional approaches to mental health care.

We welcome LISWs, LMHCs, LMFTs, licensed psychologists (PhD/PsyD), and LMSWs working toward independent licensure. Supervision may be available for the right LMSW candidate.

Our therapists benefit from strong internal referral flow from our established psychiatry practice, rather than being expected to build a caseload entirely through their own marketing.

Schedules of approximately 20–40 hours per week are available, with hybrid flexibility after onboarding.

For therapists interested in psychedelic-assisted therapy, this position also offers a training and development path into ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Prior KAP experience is not required.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual psychotherapy using a thoughtful, trauma-informed and relationship-oriented approach
• Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with a sustainable caseload
• Collaborate directly with our physician, psychiatric providers, nurses, therapists, and administrative team to provide coordinated, whole-person care
• Participate in collaborative treatment planning for patients with complex mental health needs
• Have the opportunity to train in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and provide KAP as competency is established
• Integrate your existing therapeutic specialties and interests into your work
• Potentially develop groups, intensives, or specialty programming as your role grows
• Complete timely clinical documentation in our EHR

Who We're Looking For

We encourage applications from Iowa-licensed or appropriately supervised clinicians including:

• LISW
• LMHC
• LMFT
• Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)
• LMSW pursuing independent licensure

For LMSW candidates, we are open to discussing supervision arrangements for completion of remaining hours toward independent licensure.

We're especially interested in therapists who:

• Enjoy collaborating with other mental health and medical professionals
• Want professional autonomy without practicing in isolation

• Have an interest in integrative mental health care or treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions

Experience or training in ART, EMDR, IFS, DBT, somatic therapies, attachment-focused work, couples therapy, play therapy, or other trauma-focused modalities is especially valued.

We also invest in our therapists’ continued professional development, including a training stipend that can be used toward approved specialty training and continuing education. You don't need to arrive trained in every modality—we're interested in clinicians who bring a strong foundation and are excited to keep growing.

You do not need prior ketamine or psychedelic-assisted therapy experience. We are specifically interested in therapists who want to learn and develop competency in this area.

Compensation

Compensation is production-based, allowing earnings to grow with your schedule, caseload, and clinical work.

Full-time therapists with established caseloads may earn approximately $75,000–$95,000 annually, depending on productivity.
