Position Summary
Client is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with expert-level Customer Service Management experience. The developer will help mature a customer-service application built on ServiceNow and develop the portal, service catalogs, forms, workflows and communication processes used by partner health plans.
This is a development position—not a ServiceNow Administrator role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow CSM applications.
- Build service portals, catalogs, forms and customer workflows.
- Create UI Builder components, UI actions and business rules.
- Develop Playbooks and Flow Designer solutions.
- Configure templates and dashboards.
- Customize ServiceNow using JavaScript.
- Conduct analysis, design, coding, testing and debugging.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and product owners.
- Maintain and improve existing applications and procedures.
- Support ServiceNow platform upgrades and new capabilities.
- Design integrations using APIs and web services.
- Lead technical discussions and recommend platform solutions.
- Document technical designs, configurations and application changes.
Mandatory Requirements
- Five or more years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Expert-level ServiceNow Customer Service Management experience.
- Active ServiceNow Developer certification.
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow Zurich release.
- UI Builder and UI Actions.
- Business Rules and JavaScript development.
- Playbooks and Flow Designer.
- Service Portal development.
- Building service catalogs and forms.
- ITSM knowledge.
- Templates and dashboard implementation.
- Strong application-design, testing and debugging skills.
- Current residence in the DMV area.
- Ability to attend an onsite Reston interview and recurring onsite meetings.
