Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the chiropractic practice by managing various administrative and clinical tasks to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office management and possess strong organizational skills, along with a passion for providing excellent patient care.
Duties
- Assist in the daily operations of the Holistic Family Medicine Clinic, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients.
- Perform documentation review and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support medical administrative functions, including appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups.
- Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 for proper documentation and billing processes.
- Manage medical collections and assist patients with insurance inquiries, including Medicare-related questions.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Familiarize yourself with clinic systems such as Athenahealth to streamline administrative processes.
- Willing to do chair massage/manual therapy for 3-4 hours per shift.
- Willing to start off working part-time 3 days per week.
- Willing to cross-train and help in the front and back offices as needed.
