Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods such as banquets or catering events.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality service.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage pairings is a plus.
- Experience in the food industry or retail math is beneficial for managing transactions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service are required.
